Summary
A (violent and lengthy) account of what happened after the death of !nanni's uncle (|un'ta), who died in the Makoba's house. Karu cries for his dead child. !nanni's father, ya ||ne, tells his father to be silent, as does Karu's wife. ya ||ne and Karu's wife beat Karu with a stick until people take hold of ya ||ne. ya ||ne and Karu threaten and attempt to kill each other a number of times and Karu threatens to kill his own wife. Karu's wife's father (||namme) beats Karu. Karu shoots his father-in-law in the head with an arrow. Karu runs away and the people chase him. Karu's wife beats him and he aims his arrow at his wife. Karu's people beat him with knobkerries.
