Summary
!nauxa and !khannumup (at the South African Museum) give words and sentences in |xam (on the recto pages) and in !Ora ('Hottentot') on the opposite pages. These are largely the names of plants and animals and some descriptions of their habits or appearance.

1) p.10 318v: see !khannumup (or Petros Willems): his personal history, 2) p.10 229v: !nauxa did not know the name for a special digging-stick stone – people did not appear to use them in their part of the country; !khannumup seemed to know of their use (in response to stones on display in the museum), 2) This story is found in Book XVI-1
