Summary
Remarks upon sorcerers, their dress, etc. (in explanation of one of Mr Stow’s copies of Bushmen paintings), by Dia!kwãin (L V.-10. 4744-4750). The dance of sorcerers is called the ||ken. The dancers play the role of the dog and the gemsbok in the dance. The sorcerers watch to see whether the people will laugh at them or show 'understanding' when they are dressed in this way.
