Summary
The hunting of eland and related ceremonies. There are many things the hunter must do to show respect for the eland, as it is a 'magic thing' and |kaggen (the Mantis) will try to revive the game and keep it from dying. The verso notes contain further details of these practices. Pages 5359v-5361v contains warnings about the casting of shadows (translated by Dorothea Bleek).
