Summary
Falling Stars. Certain ceremonies in connection with them. In the Katkop dialect, by Díä!kwãin (L V.-19. 5478-5483, 5481 rev.,-5483 rev., note). At the death of a sorcerer, his heart falls (as a shooting star) out of the sky and goes into a water pit. The doings and power of sorcerers, etc. (L V.-19. 5483-5505). Falling stars go into the waterpit and sound like the rain; sorcerers' hearts also fall down from the sky and go into the waterpit with a thundering sound; the customs of sorcerers.
