Summary
The Lion, the Jackal, the Chersina angulata, and the Hyena. By /han≠kass’o (L VIII.-25. 8232-8251). The Lion and the Jackal throw mud at each other and as a result the Lion sits blinded at the water. The |go |go'ken (Chersina angulata, or angulate tortoise) wipes his eyes clean and the Lion eats her, putting her head into his bag. |go |go'ken's husband, the Hyena, offers the Lion some soup and puts the pot over the Lion's head and kills him.
