Summary

!yoa-ka-ttu, the Blue Crane, and the Girls of the early race. By /han≠kass’o (L VIII.-29. 8526-8554). A creature called !yoa-ka-ttu (or Bad-smelling-mouth, a person of the Early Race) lies in the branches of the !khi tree. The Blue Crane and some girls (of the Early Race) sit in the shade of the same tree and !yoa-ka-ttu breaks wind. They leave, and !yoa-ka-ttu runs after the girls with his assegai. The Blue Crane protects them and is killed and rises up many times. Eventually !yoa-ka-ttu returns to his !khi tree and the Blue Crane returns home.
