Description : Two figures, one holding a bow. A large snake, a giraffe (head), a hippopotamus (or similar, possibly a water-dwelling animal), five animals resembling either antelope or bovids, a triangular shape in the centre, two animals with elongated snouts. The painting features an almost-square shape almost in the centre. "Rocks on the Klip-Plaat River near Whittlesea. 4th July 1867. G.W.S."
