Description : Five figures of mixed description: three of which are holding weaponry (they are holding sticks and one carries four spears) another appears to have blood running from its nose, another lies beneath an animal - markings resembling blood are coming out from beneath it; four animals of mixed description: one appears to be a bovid and another resembles an antelope, one is a snake and the other resembles a beast of prey - it has markings and pointed teeth; markings. "Rocks above Waterfall in deep Ravine S.W. portion[?] of the Genaardeberg O.F.S."

Description in published source : “PLATE 49 LOCALITY.– Rocks above waterfall on farm Genaadeberg. Owner, Mr. P. H. S. Pieterse. SITE. – The waterfall is on the western slopes of the Genaadeberg not far up the hill, a few miles south of the waterfall, on the farm Pietersberg (Plate 50). Above the fall is a shelter in which is a long narrow strip of rock with paintings. DESCRIPTION.– There seem to be only two superpositions in this place. At one end are cows on bucks, of which the best example has been copied. A bit of rock has flaked off the animals’ backs. The curious animal is some distance off, on the same level as the buck, superimposed on white men who are following the man in front of it. The red men are correct. The orange man with spears and tail is some way off. The snake has disappeared. There are more paintings, a well-drawn horse among them. EXPLANATION.– This picture shows a new form of mythical animal. Dimensions: 14 x 19 1/2 inches.” (Bleek)
