Description : Seven figures: one decorated with white spots and another two with what appear to be lines and chevrons across the torso; two bear sticks. Two unidentifiable animals: one resembles a bovid and the other a boar or wild pig, possibly rain animals. "From the Great Cave in the Precipitous Ravine - Morning Sun Mill Spruit O.F.S." [Two joined halves.]

Description in published source : “PLATE 65 LOCALITY.– As Plate 64. [Cave in precipitous ravine on van Niekerk’s Rus, Mill Spruit. Owner, Mr. Van Niekerk.] SITE.– As Plate 64. [This farm lies about six miles from Rosendal high up on a hill overlooking the Mill Spruit. The cave is below the house about ten minutes’ walk distant, but far above the stream.] DESCRIPTION.– This group is higher up on the rock than that of Plate 64, therefore it is less faded, but the white and vermilion paint have vanished and the lower right-hand man has been rubbed out. EXPLANATION.– I think the animals are meant for wild boars. Dimensions: 18 1/2 x 32 inches.” (Bleek)
