Size : 674mmx506mm
Description : Twenty figures of mixed description all assuming different attitudes (handstands, bending over, arms raised etc). Possibly a companion to 125 or at same location.
Verso : "126"
Description in published source : p.79: "47. No locality. 1/5 lin." "46 and 47. These very similar paintings are clearly the work of the same hand. They almost certainly come from Camp Siding (see plate 36). Figures in both groups on plate 46 wear cycad-branch wings, typical at this site. All figures are in red-brown with orange markings. The three tall figures interrupting the right-hand group in 47 are in different style and slightly darker colour. Note the intense vivacity, freedom of movement and grace of design in these four little groups. They may represent four phases in a dance." (Goodwin)
