Description : Ten figures, one wearing a kaross. Some carry sticks, branches and objects resembling fan-like plants and round-ended sticks. Four elephants, one of which is spotted, upside down and seemingly supported by two figures. "From cave near waterfall in Knoffel Spruit Orange River O.F.S." [Two joined halves.]

Description in published source : “PLATE 30 LOCALITY.– As Plate 28. SITE.– As Plate 29. DESCRIPTION. – The pictures copied here are from two parts of the cave. The men carrying a baby elephant are near a group of Basutos and oxen in orange and black. I think the lower right-hand group is among the blurred paintings below these. The other two elephants are far to the left; the top one has almost disappeared, the lower one is surrounded by more men than shown superimposed on a dark-red animal, while a brick-red man is superimposed on some of the men. EXPLANATION.– These different elephant hunts belong to two periods. The later ones are those partly in yellow which belong to groups of men with karosses and some with Basuto shields. Dimensions: 21 1/2 x 36 inches. Colours: Black, brown, white, and bright yellow.” (Bleek)
